From the Director
“This is a group of people with a wide range of ages and occupations with one thing in common: They love to sing! We are having so much fun as this chorus grows and improves with each year. They have a wonderful spirit and a complete understanding of teamwork. We are looking forward to continuing to sharing our music with the community.” – Director, Thomas Yackley
About The Chorus
In its fourth year, the Alpharetta Community Chorus is comprised of people who love to sing. Established by veteran metro Atlanta area public school choral directors Thomas and Robin Yackley, the group requires no auditions and is open to everyone from advanced high school chorus students to older community members. “We envision a community chorus where everyone brings various strengths to the group. Some are experienced music readers. Others have wonderful voices. All bring their enthusiasm. “Regardless of his or her abilities, everyone with a love of singing has something to offer.” –Thomas Yackley. The chorus meets every Tuesday from 7 – 9 p.m. More information can be found on Facebook or online at http://alphachorus.wordpress.com.
