David Zinner, Exec. Dir of Kavod v’ Nichum, National Chevra Kadisha Society, will explain the history of Chevra Kadisha and Tahara and why it is so important in the Jewish Religion when a death occurs. There will also be a Tahara (ritual washing) demonstration. Anyone (adult over the age of 21)+ in the Jewish community is welcome to attend. Light refreshments will be served. Please feel free to arrive 15 minutes early.
