Community Emergency Response Team Training

Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training will teach us skills we need to deal with a range of issues and emergencies. Protect yourself, your family, friends, and community.

From medical and emergency issues….putting out fires (we’ll put out real fire in the parking lot)…verbal judo to deal with difficult or dangerous situations…autism and terrorism awareness…emergency building evacuation… and more. Class ends with massive Emergency Event Drill, with live volunteers.

Offered by Dekalb Emergency Management Agency in Toco Hills at Beth Jacob Atlanta.

Starts Sunday afternoon Jan 7th; it’s on 5 consecutive Sundays; no charge.   Graduates of most of the modules get a Certificate and an Emergency Kit Backpack…free.
