Congregation Etz Chaim Film Scholar

Lilmode, Adult Jewish Education at Congregation Etz Chaim, is honored to welcome Dr. Eric A. Goldman, who will explore the American and Israeli Jewish story through cinema.

Dr. Goldman is adjunct associate professor of cinema at Yeshiva University and lectures on Yiddish, Israeli and Jewish film and a noted film educator. Dr. Goldman is also a film reviewer for Northern New Jersey’s ‘The Jewish Standard.’ He has curated several Jewish film festivals including the Ring Family Israel Film Series at Yeshiva University and was curator of film for the YIVO Institute for Jewish Research.
