Menorah Lighting on Marietta Square

On Friday, December 30 from 6:30-7:30pm, Congregation Ner Tamid will hold a Menorah Lighting ceremony as part of a Hanukkah Celebration on the Glover Park Stage at Marietta Square, 50 Park Square, Marietta GA, which will include Hanukkah music, dreidel games, and hot chocolate. PJ Library will have a table with books and crafts. Rabbi Prass will lead us in prayer as the giant menorah is illuminated. All are welcome. Arrive early for free parking in the municipal garage on Cherokee Street.

The Menorah lighting on the Marietta Square was organized and conducted by Congregation Ner Tamid of Marietta.  Among others in attending are Sam Olens (president of Kennesaw State University and former Georgia Attorney-General), Cobb Superior Court Judge Stephen Schuster, Marietta City Councilman Phillip Goldstein and former Councilman Van Pearlberg, and Marietta City Schools Superintendent and former Georgia Superintendent of the Year Emily Lembeck.
