Background:
The End Human Trafficking Now charitable organization (www.endhtnow.com) was founded in 2012 by Dave McCleary with its mission to raise awareness of the commercial sex trafficking with minors issue through engaging local Rotary Clubs in communities worldwide. In May 2015 EHTN organized a Worldwide Summit on Human Rights at The Carter Center which was attended by 14 countries and included law enforcement, business engagement and survivor workshops. It was the request of the Survivor workshop that a central resource was made available for survivors looking for information and/or help. When Cokkie Eaker, executive director of EHTN, met Dr. Solomon Negash from Kennesaw State University this summer they readily agreed to take on the challenge in form of an interactive Mobile App. This App will also serve as a resource for volunteers and NGOs and will feature a bulletin board, a project list and a calendar. The cost is $30,000 and donations are welcome at www.endhtnow.com or via check to EHTN, PO BOX 923, Roswell, GA 30077 – memo: Resource App – please email cokkie@endhtnow.com to notify about contribution for year-end donation letter.
