Tashlich at the Lake – JCC Zaban Park

September 16, 2018 Atlanta Free

All are invited to experience the Jewish tradition of Tashlich at a Family Picnic and celebration. Tashlich, which means “sending away” in Hebrew, is the tradition of tossing bread crumbs into a body of water. Just as the water carries away the bits of bread, so too are our “sins” symbolically carried away. Please bring picnics, bread crumbs, lawn chairs, and blankets.

  • Songs with Rabbi G
  • Fun Activities

  • Bring a Shofar for the “JCC Shofar Blast Off”
