All are invited to experience the Jewish tradition of Tashlich at a family picnic and celebration. Tashlich, which means “sending away” in Hebrew, is the tradition of tossing bread crumbs into a body of water. Just as the water carries away the bits of bread, so too are our “sins” symbolically carried away. The program will include a brief ceremony followed by a bubble show and activities, a Shofar blowing contest, songs with Rabbi G, and boating on the lake.
